To the family of Tony Mathis, on behalf of the Thomas family, I extend our deepest sympathy. I pray that you will remain with God and draw even closer during this troublesome time. Put your worries, anxieties and questions in God's Hands. "He will never leave nor forsake you." Shelly, I watched you and Tony grow up from small children into adult-hood. It seems like time just flew by. I know life has not been easy but don't give up on God. Everyone has to go through the trials and tribulations of life, so hang in there because God does Love you and "God never gives you what you can't handle." If you find yourself unable to handle it, give it back to God. Life is all about making choices and God's choice is that we will all choose Him, but the choice is ours to make. May God continue to Bless you , Tony's children, loved ones, family members and all those you hold dear. We Love you and your family very much. Most importantly, God loves you!

Tony was like a brother to me, he and Shelly were the first people that I met when I moved to the area (21 years ago) although, it was a couple of months since I have seen him last, I will remember our last conversation and hold it to my memory. Tony, you will be missed and I love you! I will continue to keep the family in my prayers, May God bless you all and give you strength in this time of need!

I had not seen Tony since school. To get this news truly makes my heart ache. Tony you were great before your time and in heaven you will be one of God's greatest angels. God Bless you.
