Robert Stewart Memoriam

STEWART
ROBERT S. STEWART 06/14/70-12/30/06

Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest but when I received the news of your death, ever since that day I have been a mess. I think of the years we spent together and the plans we made together; we tried our best to rekindle love but too much time had gone by and the saddest part of my day is that I never had the chance to say good-bye. With every passing moment I see your face, smile and hear your laugh and pray that I gave you everything a wife should have. Life has to go on but I will never forget the love and happiness we once shared in marital bliss. With the heaviest of hearts, I submit my farewell to you my love.

Lovingly submitted,

Your 1st & only wife in life and in death,

Sharmaine M. Stewart, "Your boogie baby"

Today is the last day for your online guestbook. I just wanted to say, continue to rest in peace because all your worries are now over. I loved you yesterday, today and forever. You will always remain in my heart, in that special place where time or no other person can ever take away. I love life but anticipate the day; I can see you, talk to you, hold your face in my hand and kiss you, even if for just one last time. Rob, I still can not believe that you are gone and even with the days; I can not forget you and never will. I never knew that death could feel this way maybe because I have never lost someone so close to my heart before.

The heart is a place where you can keep the memories of those you love "forever." No one can invade or erase. May the joy and love that you shared with all of your love ones, be forever implated in their hearts.

Rob, you are gone but will never be forgotten. May your soul rest in eternal peace.

So, its been a month now and I feel the same way I did last month, I miss you. Death is a remarkable thing; it makes you realize that love is forever. Rob, you were my first love, so how am I supposed to forget and get over this tragedy. I cry and pray each day that it gets better. I have had a series of dreams about you and God has let me know, that you are in heaven. Writing to you, looking at all the pictures we took together and the places went together, has been my form of therapy but how do you heal a broken heart, everyone tells me time. I was looking at one of our pictures the other day and you wrote on the back, "True love, never dies", so for that, you will always stay in my heart. Your presence here on earth has touched so many, your children, mother, cousins and other family members but as your wife, you touched my heart, soul and my being. I am the woman, I am today because of you. In case, I never told you before, thank you for 13 wonderful years.

Hey, Rob I am just sitting here at work thinking about when we were little. I really can not beleive that this has happened. Man I miss my big cousin I know that God has a plan for us but this is hard pill to swallow. Especially for your mother. But we are going to help her get through this.

love you

During your journey here on earth you always demonstrated the attitude that will remain dear to my heart. For your willingness to protect, provide, help and support others "I Thank You". for the ability to keep everyone laughing from time to time "I Thank You". for the wide range of uncertainty for not knowing what would be "I Reward You". Rob if you wanted something you seeked it, once you seeked it you achieved it. If you aspired to something you dreamed it. Once you discovered ways to get it you went after it. Once you captured it you did it. Rest peacefully my son for your joyous smile, and caring attitude will never be forgotten.

Words can't express the loss we all feel at this time. I have known Rob since back in the nineties and have always had a lot of respect for him, and he respected me even though he saw me go through some of the roughest times of my life he was there for me. He did not give up on me. I love him and I will truly miss him. To the family, may our God comfort us and send angels to watch over us.

To the Family and Wife:
John 14 says, Let not your heart be trouble ye believe God believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions, if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and recieve you unto Myself. Always remember that Rob was placed here temporary and his work here is now complete. May God continue to bless and keep you in the time of sorrow.

To my cousin/ big brother
I will miss you dearly, I can not believe that you are gone, but as they say to absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. To Sharmaine I didn't get a chance to really talk to at the funeral but I hope and pray that you will be ok.
Miss you Rob and may you rest in peace.
Love always
Charvelle
