Rutledge Hazzard Obituary

HAZZARD RUTLEDGE PARKER HAZZARD "Hap" On Saturday, December 27 2008, Rutledge "Hap" Parker Hazzard (age 83) of McLean and Alexandria VA. Loving husband of Ann (Hammond) Petesch Hazzard; devoted father of Ann, Rutledge Jr. (Rusty) and Tom; grandfather of Ashley Isaacs, Libby and Amy Hazzard. Son of William Wigg Hazzard and Belle Sumter (Roberts) Hazzard of Birmingham, AL. Brother of William Wigg Hazzard Jr. (deceased), and Meredyth Roberts Hazzard (deceased). Memorial Service will be held at Goodwin House, Alexandria VA on Wednesday, December 31 at 10:30 a.m. with a reception to follow at 11:30 a.m. at 4800 Fillmore Ave Alexandria VA 22311 (703) 578-1000. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Goodwin House Foundation, the American Hospice Foundation or the charity of your choice.
