I am Son of Lauryne (Grandy) Green; As my Aunt Pat was the closet in age to myself of all my Aunts and the one that most resembled my mother at similar ages. I always held a fondness for her different from the others for the time we spent together.
I send my prayers out to Anita and Byron’s immediate family and all that loved her as I did.
I also send a wish that I can become a closer to my Family in the future.
I will put a dedication on my own website to both Byron and Pat for as long as I own it.
With much Love cousin Q

Aunt Pat,my Diva manual 101. It is in the times in which I am quiet that I hear you laugh. Much like you, I plan to experience all that life has to offer. There is so much in life that has yet to be tackled, therefore I am going to take the bull by the horns and sashay my (our) proud Grandy trait 'til I can't sashay no more. You represented life, and I pray that I can carry the torch proudly and with much sophistication. With much love my fashion filled God- fearing diva.
Until we meet again...

Hi, I'm Aunt Pat's nephew Alfonzo, but known to the family as 'De'. She was a very loving aunt who always had a smile when you saw her. One thing that you could never forget about her was that she was a diva, always helping the women of the family keep up to date. Also she made you laugh and showed a lot of love. She will be missed along with her late son Byron. I know that they are together and smiling upon us! Love and live life to the fullest!

Ms. Pat you will truly be missed. I know you are at peace now and are no longer in pain. You are back with your baby Byron. I know we will all meet up again one day. We miss and love you. Your Godson did not get to say bye he said he wishes he could have given you a kiss before you passed, but I told him you will watch over him as an angel in heaven and that he can talk to you and blow you a kiss up to heaven when ever he wants to. I will not say good-bye but until later Ms.Pat... Love,Keisha,Alicia, Emanuel, Beatrice and Carlton ( The Ford family).

Pat was a sweetie pie, the zeal she had for life was astounding & the love she had for cousin Gino & his family was like the love God has for his children never ending. I know Bryon & Pat are having fun together.

Hi, I'm Shonda Richardson; Steve Richardson's wife from Goldsboro. I would just like to say that I always admired and respected Pat. She was like an inspiration to me. She was like an Aunt to me. Everytime I saw her she always had a beautiful smile no matter what she may have been going through. She was one of the coolest bachlorettes who was married to Gene in her heart, that I had ever met. I will really miss her.

Pat was a wonderful Mother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and friend. She was always so positive and her smile would light up a room. Her Love of family was the center of her life. We will truly miss her presence, but she will always be in our hearts and we have many memories to make us smile often.

You've ministered the peace God unto others through your countenance. Let those whom you've touched, take up that same mantle of peace to be a light unto others. May the grace and peace of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ be unto yours.

words cannot express the joy of having you as a friend. we shared many precious moments in the short time that we had together. we were the party queens and i will cherish memories of us hanging out together forever. the ole folk use to say that death is a prerequisite of life and in order to have life we must be willing to die. i will pour a libation for you because you are sitting with the ancestors now. so glad that you are at peace. rest girl!!!!
