I fondly remember Gaiden. He was intelligent and thoughtful, even as a young boy. We are missing him and his contribution to our world.

Bakhit, I just learned of the passing of your son. Words cannot express my sorrow for your loss.
The many tributes to your son, however, demonstrated to me that your son was a positive influence on many, many people, and on people on several different levels. While the years ahead will pass for you and your family very slowly, time will pass quickly for him, and eventually, you will all be reunited with him and will once again enjoy each other's love and company.

Dear Kourman Family,
I don't know if you remember me, but my name is Renee Bowman and my son Justin used to be friends with Gabiden when they were in school together at Calvary. I have watched Gabiden grow up at church and watched him grow into a responsible, handsome man. I was so very shocked and saddened to hear about his passing. Please know that your family is in my thoughts and prayers. I know how much Bakhit Jr. looked up to him and I am sure that this is a terrible loss for him. Please know that you have many people praying for you and hoping that God will give you some comfort in the days ahead.

Dear Kourmans, i feel very sorry for your loss. My mother told me about Gabiden few days ago, I felt really bad. Maybe I didnt know him that well. But remember the days when we were little kids. I remember him very happy and always smiling. Thanks for giving Aidana our childhood video, so that we can remember Tikunya.

Words alone are insufficient to express my feelings of sadness over the passing of Gabiden.
We shared many great childhood experiences together, which I will treasure for the rest of my life. I will be keeping Bakhit, Gulya, Aigerim and Bakhit Jr. in my thoughts.

He was a great guy and I know you are going to be a great guy like him someday. I don't know what to say, you can not describe gabby in a paragraph. He was an amazing friend to everyone at school- no matter how different they were. He never complained, and he always helped me with homework. I always joked about how much smarter he was, but he would just turn it into something funny and pretend like I was smart too. I can't describe to you how much he meant to all of us and how much we are going to truly miss him. I am praying for you guys.

Gabby was amazing in so many ways. He was so smart, insightful, hilarious. He was such fun to make jokes with and always had something interesting to say. I loved quoting movies with him, having him help me with calculus, or even just discussing life's many questions. I have known him for many many years now and cannot believe he is gone. I was very blessed to share in Gabiden's education. Being able to read his writing and see the depth of his understanding of literature were great joys for me as an English teacher. He was always dedicated to excellence. His contributions to class discussions were insightful. He was always the gentleman.
I am very sad to know of this painful loss to you as a family and to all of his friends. Please know that you are in my prayers. I pray that God will enfold you in his strong, comforting presence.

I will continue to pray for your entire family. Gabiden was a great boy and I respected him greatly. His unique sense of humor always brightened my day and when he smiled I couldn't help but smile back. I admired him for his devotion and work ethic. I am so sorry that this happened. It is an event that a family should never have to go through. And as sad as you are, know that your's as well as Gabiden's freinds are feeling your pain right alongside you.

Darling, my heart aches so much for you at this a very sad time. I know you loved your brother dearly.
I wish I could tell you why this happened and answer all your questions, but I can't.
