Chris, I was so shocked to hear about Wendy. Wendy and I worked 3rd shift for years, I worked in admitting and she worked in labor and Delivery. The both of you were so sweet together. I will never forget my car being in the shop and the two of you gave me a ride home. May God bless you and keep you and you're in my prayers.

Dear Davido and Coker Family:
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. (Wendy) as we so affectionately called her, was such a wonderful person to be around. We were baton twirlers in the band together at Carver in the late 70's and we shared a lot of wonderful memories.
May God continue to Bless you

Chris,
I dont know whether you would remember me or not but I worked in Admitting on 3rd shift when Wenda was working on 3rd in Labor & Delivery. I had the opportunity to meet you a couple of times. Wenda was such a delightful person and I had the utmost respect for her. I was truly shocked when I read this news in the paper. May God bless you and give you the strength you need at this most difficult time. Cherish the memories of the time you had together.

Dear Mr. Davido,
I did not have an opportunity to meet you and your wife when you bought my home at Sportsman Drive back in 1987. I was hoping to have gotten to meet the people to whom I was turning my home over. I want to express my condolences and hope that you and Mrs. Davido had a wonderful life together. You have good neighbors like Julius, Carolyn and Doc next door. I hope that they, along with your family and friends, will be a comfort for you at a time like this. May God Bless you and your family.

Wenda was given a great gift. She could brighten up a person with her smile and humor. She had the gift to touch the heart and soul of those she encountered. I was fortunate to know Wenda when she was one of my nursing students at FTCC; as a professional collegue, and a friend. She was definitely a Child of God. My prayers are with her family and friends.

Of all the people I know, Wenda was truly one of the most friendly, supportive, honest, funny, happy, loving, hard-working, devoted, and God-fearing. First and foremost, everyone around her knew of her strong faith in the Lord. And we could always depend on Wenda for an open heart, listening ear, kind word, and super smile. I will never forget our good times - more laughs than I could ever count. I am honored to have known such a great person.

My heart is saddened today, for I have lost a dear friend.Wenda was one of my classmates in nursing school and a great source of inspiration to me and her fellow classmates.I shall remember her as a loving and caring person who worked diligently to achieve her goal. Her greatest desire was to become a Registerd Nurse and to care for those less fortunate. She achieved her goal and was so happy on graduation night.Forever etched into my memory are her beautiful smile and that hearty laugh as she shared many joyful moments with us. We shall truly miss you Wenda.

Wenda and I grew up together on Atlee St. We went all through school together,(elementary - High School) Always full of life and smiles, she knew how to brighten a room. I will always cherish the memories of the "old crew", (Wenda, Kathy Grant, Willie Giles and myself). Family, God has a greater plan for her. My prayers and thoughts are with you. God will not put more on you than you can bear. HE WILL see you through.

I AM DEEPLY SADDENED TO HEAR OF THE PASSING OF MY FRIEND AND CLASSMATE, WENDA. I CAN STILL SEE HER SMILE AND HOW SHE ALWAYS MADE US LAUGH. WE WENT TO SCHOOL TOGETHER FROM WALKERTOWN JR. HIGH, CARVER HIGH, AND GRADUATED TOGETHER FROM EAST FORSYTH. SHE ALWAYS SEEMED TO MAKE MY BAD DAYS BETTER. WENDA, I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU. I KNOW YOU ARE NOW HAPPIER THAN EVER WITH THE LORD. REST ON, SWEET PRINCESS.

Wendy and I go back a long way. All the way back to when I first moved to Castle Heights across the street from her. She was my best friend all through junior high and high school. I say her from time to time after that and it was always as if not ime had passed since we'd last seen each other. I will miss her and I pray for all of her family.

I am truly sorry for the lost of such a wonderful young lady. Wendy as I knew her will always be a part of our lives, as long as we keep her memories in our hearts. Know that she is fine and that she is with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Though we will miss her physical presence, she will always be with us. I will continue to keep you all in my prayers.

Wenda was a delightful person that brought energy and enthusiasm to whatever she decided to undertake. As one of her instructors at FTCC I found her to brighten the classroom and inspire her classmates, as well as myself. I can't begin to imagine the loss you must feel and can only offer hollow words of sympathy in your time of need. Please know that wherever she is, Wenda is helping others with a large smile and an open heart.
