As Postmaster at Emory for 10 years and Meadowview for another 10 years, Ruth became a good friend to me. She always had a smile and something kind to say. I looked forward to seeing Ruth come to the Post Office. Since I retired, I have missed my 'postal customer friends'. I just want to give my condolesences to the family and to say that God has a special place for Ruth. May he give you strength and courage in the days ahead.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Ruth was a true and devoted friend to my mother for many years. I don't think working crossword puzzles will ever be the same for her. They had worked it together every morning on the phone for many years. She will be missed by our entire family.
