Clyde Ellis Wright

Clyde Ellis Wright, age 58 of Stanley, Va., died Wed., Nov. 5, 2008 at Stanley, Va. He was born May 7, 1950 in Tazewell, Va. He was owner operator of Wrights Masonry in Manassas. He lived in Manassas Park for 25 years and moved to Stanley four years ago in Sept. He married Sandra Marie Elswick Dec. 24, 1968. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Pam Wright and Joan Dean; one son, Clyde Ellis Wright, Jr.; mother, Lena Jo (Neal) Wright; father, John Westley Wright, Jr.; one daughter, Kathryn (Wright) Wright; and one son, Clyde Edward Wright. Survivors: wife, Sandra Marie (Elswick) Wright of Stanley, Va.; daughters, Elizabeth Jean (Wright) Andrew of Woodbridge, Va., Yolanda Clydene (Wright) Lightfoot of Warrenton, Va.; son, Jesse Howard Wright of Manassas, Va.; brothers, Ronnie Wright of Tazewell, Va., Rev. Jim Wright of Maryland, Johnnie Wright of Erie, Pa.; sisters, Evelyn Oliver of Hickory, N.C., Sue Vogt of Erie, Pa., Charlotte Whitesel of Tazewell; seven grandchildren, Eric Honaker of Stanley, Va., Justin Honaker, Bradley Honaker and Tabitha Honaker, all of Woodbridge, Va., Seth Stevenson of Warrenton, Va., Kelsey Wright and Jesse James "Doc" Wright, both of Manassas, Va.; three great grandchildren, Kasey Honaker of Woodbridge, Va., Hailey Honaker of Fairfax, Va., Jacob Stevenson of Warrenton, Va. A memorial service was held at 2:00 p.m. Mon., Nov. 10, at The Bradley Funeral Home, Inc. by Rev. Jim Wright. Memorial contributions may be made to Stanley Fire Dept. or Stanley Rescue Squad.
