Hi Wanda, I was so sorry to hear about your Mother's passing. You all were such great neighbors when I was growing up on the Repass farm. There are too many memories to express here but some of my favorite are just hanging around at your house with your Mom, Dad and Grandfather. Recent memories are of the visits with your Mother that Aunt Betty and I made while visiting Bland. May God bless you in your time of sorrow.

What a precious lady. We only wish we could have spent more time with her. We love you all and our prayers are with you.

Good morning, Wanda.

I just learned of your mother's death from my sister Kathy. I am sure that she will be missed by many. She was always a wonderful neighbor to my family (except, of course, when she told my mother about my letting our pick-up truck drift down the hill from the barn to see how far it would go before stopping on its own, but I suppose that is what most adults would do). I also mention her and your father when I tell people about the good old days and how I could deliver the Burpee seeds (or whatever else that I had sold to your mother) even when no one was at home, by putting them on the kitchen table, since the house was never locked.

Do you still have the Ford Falcon. I always like that car.

Take care.

Dear Wanda -- I learned of your loss from my aunt Betty Repass Kelley, who subscribes to the Daily telegraph. We were so fortunate to grow up as neighbors, and were so grateful for all the help both Bob and Ida Mae gave my Mom in caring for my dad. One of my most vivid memories was after our barn burned down and Bob came over on a sleigh, as the snow was too deep to use a truck, carrying hay for the cattle. Also, your Mom once gave our grandparents a whole bushel of tomatoes to take to Florida. At the border, he had to give them up, as Florida wouldn't allow any produce from outside. He stood by the car, eating as many as he could! We don't often get back to Bland, but have made surprise visits to Ida Mae part of those trips when we'd go by the farm. Ida Mae was always so gracious and welcoming. We'll really miss her.

Wanda, I'm so sorry about your loss, your mom & dad both were very special people. They were great neighbors to us back when the Muncys owned the farm next to them on Walker's Creek. Ms. Ida Mae was such a kind, gentle person -- a real southern lady. I'm thankful I knew and have very good memories of her.

Wanda, I think I met you once at Ida May's. My husband is a distant cousin, we learned to love your Mom & Dad. I talked with her on the phone occassionly, she was a lovely person, we share your loss with you.

Wanda and Bob, I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a wonderful lady and I know you will miss her. She, bless her, is in a better place, with Jesus, her Dad and her family. God bless,
