Ora R. Snavely

Ora Lee Rouse Snavely, 80, of Wytheville died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008. Funeral service will be held Sunday, Nov. 16, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church with the Rev. Joe Mack Taylor officiating. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles B. and Carrie Barlow Rouse; three infant children; and four brothers. Survivors include her husband, Roy Snavely of Wytheville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Barbara Blevins of Clemmons, N.C., Duane and Robin Snavely of Wytheville; sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Charles Wymer of Marion; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Freddie and Shellia Rouse of Mouth of Wilson, Ellis and Sandi Rouse of Seven Mile Ford; and four grandchildren, Rodney Blevins, Wendy and Brian Griffin, Justin Snavely and Sidnee Snavely. The family will receive friends Sunday, Nov. 16, from 2 to 3 p.m. (service time) at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
