Nettie V. Keen Hagerman

Nettie V. Keen Hagerman Nettie V. Keen Hagerman, age 83 of North Tazewell, Va., passed away Thurs., Nov. 13, 2008 in a Tazewell, Va., hospital. Born April 3, 1925 in Buchanan County, Va., she was the daughter of the late Hobert and Amy Ratliff Keen, both Buchanan County natives. She was a member of Little Prater Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Hagerman; one daughter, Margaret Louise Ratliff; one son, Hobert Earl Hagerman; son-in-law, Don Wes Ratliff; one brother, Dewey Keen; three sisters, Ilene Piecnyski, Betty Scott and Velvie Keen. She is survived by three sons, Charles Wesley Hagerman of Mocksville, N.C., John Robert Hagerman and wife, Kathy, of Troutman, N.C., and Randy Benjamin Hagerman of the home; two daughters, Barbara Geneva Lester and husband, Jennings, of Fredericksburg and Linda L. Hagerman Helton and husband, Clifford, of Moneta; one brother, Russell Keen and wife, Betty, of Groveport, Ohio; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 1:00 p.m. Sun., Nov. 16, 2008 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, Va., with Evangelist Bob Smith, Evangelist David Cuthbertson and Evangelist Rusty Owens officiating. Burial followed in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va. Grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers.
