Ned Edward Plaster

Ned Edward Plaster, age 69 of Midland, Va., died Sat., Nov. 15, 2008 at Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton, Va. Mr. Plaster was born Aug. 25, 1939 in Swords Creek, Va. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Nokesville, Va. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Plaster, along with his twin brother, Ted, were the owners of J.N. & T. Plaster Masonry Construction Company, Inc. He was preceded in death by his father, George Gaines Plaster, and one sister, Sylvia Ball. Survivors include his loving wife of 41 years, Judy Plaster; one son, Eric Plaster and wife Lisa of Salem, Va.; one daughter, Jennifer Van Dyke and husband Mark of Halifax, Va.; his mother, Mattie Plaster of Gainesville, Va.; two brothers, Ted Plaster of Manassas, Va., and Jack Plaster of Amissville, Va.; two sisters, Phyllis Erlwein of Goldvein, Va., and Evelyn Ray of Whiteford, Md.; and two grandchildren, Megan Van Dyke and Savannah Van Dyke, both of Halifax, Va. The family received friends from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Tues., Nov. 18, 2008 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wed., Nov. 19, 2008 at Victory Baptist Church, 12650 Aden Road, Nokesville, Va., with Pastor Clinton E. Owens officiating. A second visitation will be held 6:00-9:00 p.m. Fri., Nov. 21, 2008 at Honaker Funeral Home, 4686 Redbud Highway, Honaker, Va., with funeral services at 7:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sat., Nov. 22, 2008 at Plaster Family Cemetery, Swords Creek, Va.
