Eileen E. Kennedy

Eileen Egan Kennedy, 88, of Wytheville, formerly of Somerset, Ky., died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008. Celebration of her life was held Monday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m. at St. Mildred Catholic Church in Somerset, Ky. Interment was in Mill Springs National Cemetery. She was born Jan. 22, 1920, in Minnesota, daughter of the late John and Anna Magee Egan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Kennedy, in 2002. Survivors include three sons, John Kennedy of Greenville, Ill., Jim Kennedy of Chicago, Ill., and Pat Kennedy of Cincinnati, Ohio; a daughter, Mary Kennedy Radman of Wytheville; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southwest Virginia, 600 Ridge Road, Wytheville, VA 24382. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.somersetundertalking.com.
