Randall Wayne Holmes

Randall Wayne Holmes, age 55 of Hillsville, Va., passed away Sat., Nov. 22, 2008 at a Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, Va., following a brief illness. He was the son of Rebecca Ruth Musick Holmes and the late Robert C. Holmes. Randall had spent most of his life in Richlands, Va., before relocating to Hillsville, Va., several years ago. Those who survive him are: his loving mother, Rebecca Holmes of Hillsville, Va.; sisters: Barbara Holmes of Galax, Va., Ann Bramblett of Norfolk, Va.; brothers: Larry Holmes of Hillsville, Va., Danny Holmes of Hillsville, Va.; Special Extended Family is the staff and residents of the Southwestern Virginia Training Center. Funeral services for Randall Holmes were conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tues. evening, Nov. 25, 2008 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Va., with the Rev. Gary C. Cope and Rev. Otis Musick officiating. Family and friends served as pallbearers. Graveside committal services will be conducted on Wed. morning, Nov. 26, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va., and those wishing to attend are asked to be at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friends called from 6 – 7 p.m. Tues. evening at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, Va.
