Joyce Helena Clark Morris

Joyce Helena Clark Morris, 67, died on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at her home in Atkins. She was born in Marion to the late Rev. Zany Luther Clark and Alice Mae Catron Clark and was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Clark. She was retired from Harwood Manufacturing and was currently employed with Food City in Marion. She attended East End Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Charles E. Morris; one daughter, Kim Morris Marion; one sister, Christine Catron and husband, Buddy, of Glade Spring; one brother, James Clark and wife, Carleen, of Marion; sister-in-law, Lettie Clark; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Revonda Byrd and husband, Gary, of Kingsport, Tenn., and a special great-niece, Jessica Gass and husband, Robert, of Dandridge, Tenn. Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Bradley's Funeral Home in Marion with the Rev. Grady Byrd and the Rev. Tim Parker officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wassum Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Presbyterian Children's Home of the Highlands, P.0. Box 545, Wytheville, VA 24382.
