Frances Marcella McGrady

Frances Marcella McGrady, 82, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2008 at Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie. She was born in Elkhorne, W.Va., to the late John Dolinger and Callie Powers Dolinger. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Wade, Jerry, Howard, Robert and Basil Dolinger, and her sisters, Hazel Debord and Minnie Blevins. She was a member of Grosses Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Raymond McGrady; one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald Anderson and wife, Rebecca, of Johnson City, Tenn.; one daughter, Sandra Anderson of Marion; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ike Dolinger and wife, Freda, of Chilhowie, William "Bill" Dolinger and wife, Pat, of Sumter, S.C.; one sister, Ann Collins and husband, Hansford, of Marion; two grandchildren, Chris Anderson and wife, Meredyth, Sharon Anderson and husband, William; seven great-grandchildren; three stepdaughters, Pat, Kathy and Debbie; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 13, at 3 p.m. from Bradley's Funeral Home Chapel in Marion with the Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Interment will follow in the Grosses Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 3 p.m. prior to the service.
