Henry L. Blankenship

Henry Lee Blankenship, 68, of Bland died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at the Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem. Funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 8, at 11 a.m. at A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Henry Allen Conley officiating. Interment will be in the Shiloh Cemetery at Hollybrook. He was born April 3, 1940, in Bland, son of the late John Henry and Maudie Mae Ramsey Blankenship. He was a retired truck driver. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Sammie Miller of Bland; and a brother, Mack Blankenship of Bland. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Jan. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home. A. Vest & Sons Funeral Home in White Gate is in charge of the arrangements.
