Sherry S. Brown

Sherry L. Sheets Brown, 39, of Wytheville, formerly of Tazewell, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke. Funeral service was held Monday, Jan. 12, at 11 a.m. at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Hayes officiating. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Grafton. She was born Feb. 11, 1969, in Tazewell. She was preceded in death by her father, Rainard Ray Sheets; and her grandparents, Joe Sheets, Luther Neel and Ellen Rudd. Survivors include her mother, Delores Neel Sheets Smith of Tazewell; a daughter, Kayla Leann Fox of Springville; husband, Kenneth "Butch" Brown; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Michael Ray and Jennifer Sheets of Tazewell and Randal Dwayne Sheets of Springville; grandmother, Marie Sheets of Burkes Garden; stepfather, Roy L. Smith of Tazewell; and several nieces and nephews. Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell was in charge of the arrangements.
