Linda L. Bishop

Linda Lou Bishop, 65, of Wytheville died Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009. Funeral service will be held Sunday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m. at the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in West End Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Mary Firell Bishop; and a brother, Tom Bishop Sr. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Barbara Allen and Louis Strosnider Sr. of Dilliner, Pa.; special friend and companion, Robert Myers of Wytheville; special niece, Nancy Bishop of Wytheville; sister-in-law, Pearl Bishop; five nieces and nephews, Charlene Moody and husband, Mike, of Point Marion, Pa., Stephanie Cordany and husband, Bernie, of Core, W.Va., Louis Strosnider Jr. of Bobtown, Pa., Tom Bishop Jr. of Lawrenceville, Ga., and David Bishop of Rock Hill, S.C.; and several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, Jan. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Grubb Funeral Home. Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
