Ella Mae Frye

Frye Ella Mae Frye, 67, of Troutdale died Feb. 2, 2009 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion. She was born Jan. 1, 1942 in Ceres to the late Leander and Mazelle Thorne Hall. Survivors include husband, Ronnie Frye of the home; son and daughter-in-law, James and Elva Hall of Troutdale; daughter, Elizabeth Frye of Mouth of Wilson; daughter-in-law, Sherri Frye of Troutdale; brother, Hobert Hall of Troutdale; two sisters and spouses, Clara Mae and Lee Gullion of Atkins, and Marie and the Rev. Larry Peak of Mouth of Wilson; sister-in-law, and special caregiver, Roxanne Hall of Troutdale; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. At her request her body is being cremated. There will not be a memorial service. Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence is in charge of arrangements.
