Sandra Frances Gravley

Sandra Frances Atwood Gravley, 57, of Pulaski died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2009, at her residence. Funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. at the Barnett Funeral Chapel with the Revs. Mike Bond, Tommy Ramsey and Richard Holmes officiating. Interment was in Highland Memory Gardens at Dublin. She was born Sept. 4, 1951, in Giles County. She was a member of the New Life Tabernacle in Pulaski for 30 years. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry D. Spicer; father, Edd C. Atwood; and a brother, Perry Atwood. Survivors include her husband, Laythan R. Gravley of the home; a son, Nathanael Lee Gravley and Jessica of Pulaski; a daughter, Melissa Saunders of Pulaski; mother, Frances V. Atwood of Narrows; a brother, James C. Atwood of Christiansburg; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Georgia and Jack Jones of Narrows, Linda and Willis Farmer of Hiwassee, Debbie Atwood and Shirley Atwood, both of Narrows; a granddaughter, Arianna Gravley of Pulaski; a stepdaughter, Sandra Lovern of Pulaski; and several nieces and nephews. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville was in charge of the arrangements.
