Robert Smith "Bobby" Coe

Robert "Bobby" Smith Coe, 73, of Wytheville died Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2009. Funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. at the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gary Houseman and Evangelist Greg Dill officiating. Interment was in the New Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. He was a member of New Bethel United Methodist Church and retired from Coe & Sons Paint Contracting. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Robinson and Mildred Louise Smith Coe; and two brothers, Lloyd Coe and Charles "Buck" Coe. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Cregger Coe of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela Coe and Walter Felts of Wytheville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Allen and Anita Coe, Gregory Todd and Jami Coe, all of Wytheville; a sister and brother-in-law, Mary Frances and Robert Ray Rosenbaum of Cripple Creek; two sisters-in-law, Wanda Coe and Ruth Coe, both of Wytheville; and a grandson and spouse, Ethan Garret and Brittney Felts. Memorial donations may be made to the New Bethel United Church Mowing Fund. Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville was in charge of the arrangements.
