Roxie Dean Neikirk

Roxie Dean Neikirk, 78, died Sunday, June 7, 2009 at the Smyth County Community Hospital. She was born in Smyth County to the late Frank and Annie Bell Neikirk and was preceded in death by six sisters and five brothers. She was a lifelong member of the Chilhowie Christian Church in Chilhowie. Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, June 9, at 8 p.m. at the Bradley's Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie with Rev. Frank Branson officiating. The family received friends Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
