Raymond A. Terry Sr.

Raymond A. Terry Sr., 80, formerly of the Little Creek community of Bland County, died Thursday, June 11, 2009, at his home in Louisville, Ohio. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 15, at 2 p.m. at the Hidden Valley Cemetery in Little Creek with the Rev. Bill Perkins officiating. He was retired from LTV Steel. He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene, in 1997; a daughter, Sandy; a son, Billy; parents, James and Lula Williams Terry; three brothers, Jim Terry, Bill Terry and Robert Terry; and a great-grandson, Jacob Davis. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley and Timothy Monnot of East Canton, Ohio, Teresa and David Welch of Louisville, Ohio; two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond Jr. and Wilda Terry, Michael and Stacy Terry, all of Louisville, Ohio; a sister, Irene Terry of Pulaski; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, June 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Grubb Funeral Home. Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
