Fannie E. Terry, 86, died on June 10, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Terry. Survivors include two sisters, Stella Terry of Chilhowie and Charlotte Thomas of Ohio; one daughter, Kathy N. Turley; one grandson, Brian A. Maiden; several nieces and nephews; and a very special person in her life, McKinley Surber. Graveside services were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Elizabeth Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Turley officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery Online condolences may be sent to drhendersonfuneralhome.com. D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville was in charge of arrangements.

I'M SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT FANNIE WE HAVE ALOT OF MEMORIES. I CAN REMEBER WHEN I WAS A LITTLE GIRL I WOULD GO DOWN AND HELP HER STRAN GREEN BEANS FOR SHE COULD CAN THEM AND HELP HER CLEAN THE FLOORS. SHE WAS A VERY SWEET LADY
