Loretta Frye Calloway

Loretta Frye Calloway, 73, died Sunday, June 21, at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Mae Frye, sister, Dorothy Richardson, and niece, Susan Moore. Survivors include her daughter, Shauna Calloway of Saltville; sisters, Mickey Swartz and Patsy "Pete" Allison; brothers, Lacy Frye and Bobby McElraft "Frye"; grandchildren, Aaron Norris, Kayla Norris, Stephanie Brooks, Austin Greer, Kelsie, Nin, and Caney Snodgrass, Tyler and Sissy Doane, Kelsee Smith, Christopher Jones, Aliyah Bennett and Bambi Terry; nieces and nephews, Christy and Jeff Doane, Donna and Tony Snodgrass, Robin and Johnnie Greer, Jason Frye, Patty Frye, Janie Connor, and Terry Cregger; special aunt, Sally Frye Farris; and best friends, Shirley Henderson and Connie Terry. Funeral services were at 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, in Lighthouse Baptist Church with the Rev. R.L. Frye and the Rev. Benny Frye officiating. The family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday prior to the services. Honorary pallbearers were Little Joe Frye, Eddie Frye, Harry "Roho" Frye, Tom Carter, Ronald "Big" Rolen, Johnny Edward Cregger, and Jimbo Terry.
