Charles Pauley Family,
I had planned to come to the Funeral Home this evening to meet Charles' family. Sorry that I could not be there to pay my respect to you.
Being from Bland, my father John Stafford was Cashier of the Bank of Bland when Charles worked there during the mid-1950's. I always remember my dad always speaking very highly of Charles. It was very special that Charles's obituary referred to his employment at the Bank of Bland.
I remember seeing Charles at one of the Bland County Reunions held in Richmond in recent years.
May your faith and good memories help you through this difficult time.
