Geraldine Jackson

Geraldine Jackson, age 67, of Petaluma, Calif., formerly of Richlands, Va., passed away Thurs., July 9, 2009 following a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Evelyn Antonio. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and aunt. She was a member of the New Hope Church in Cotati, Calif. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Jackson. She is survived by: her loving husband of 51 years, Luther E. Jackson of Petaluma, Calif.; sons: Donald Jackson and wife, Laura, of Rohnert Park, Calif., Raymond Antonio of Petaluma, Calif.; daughters: Judy Elliott of Santa Rosa, Calif., Janet Brown and husband, Troy, of Rohnert Park, Calif.; brother: David Antonio; sisters-in-law: Margaret Settle of Richlands, Va., Hazel Harless of Johnson City, Tenn., Rosa Quinn of Lynchburg, Va. She was the grandmother of 19 and great-grandmother of eight, also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends and family are invited to attend the funeral service Wed., July 15, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A visitation was held Tues., July 14, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Mortuary. Contributions may be made to a charity of choice in memory of Gerry Jackson.
