Faye Tickle Cash, 94, of Richmond, formerly of Bland, died Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Funeral service was held Saturday, July 25, at 11 a.m. at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home. Interment was in the Dale Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; and son, Carl Jr. Survivors include two sons, Lewis and his wife, Virginia, and John; two daughters, Judy Meador and her husband, Dick, and Carolyn Holcomb and her husband, Robert; six grandchildren, Carla, Darla, Robert Jr., Jennifer, Emily and Richard; seven great-grandchildren, Erica, Lesley, Hannah, Ikea, Astrid, James and Ryan; two brothers, Billy Warren Tickle and Eldon Tickle; three sisters, Marjorie Kidd, Nell Bohara and Peggy Sargent; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to Odyssey Health Care, 8000 Franklin Farms Drive, Suite 100, Richmond, VA 23229; or a charity of choice. Huguenot Chapel of the Woody Funeral Home in Richmond was in charge of the arrangements.
