Pauline Necessary

Necessary Pauline Faye Necessary, 78, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009 at Ridgefield Assisted Living in Seven Mile Ford. She was born in Tannersville to the late Paul R. and Verlie N. Necessary. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Clifford Russell Necessary. She was a graduate of Rich Valley High School and Lees McCrae College as a medical records librarian. She worked several years in Pinehurst, N.C., and 30 years for Dr. C.C. Hatfield in Saltville. She was a member of the Wesley's Chapel United Methodist Church where she served 25 years as secretary and treasurer. Survivors include a sister-in-law, June Neal Necessary of Tazewell; and three nephews, Rusty Necessary and Andy Necessary, both of Tazewell, and Kirk Necessary of Tannersville. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, at Wesley's Chapel UMC. Burial will follow in the Necessary Family Cemetery.
