Hazel B. Neese Hazel Isabelle Brinkley Neese, 97, of Wytheville died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 2 p.m. at the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. John W. Neese, Janet Richardson and Richie Neese officiating. Interment will be in West End Cemetery. She was a member of West End United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce O. Neese; two daughters, Roberta Mae Albert and Nadine Joan Palmer; two sons, Randolph F. Neese and Howard Mason Neese; and a grandson, Johnny Palmer. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Bob Hall of Roanoke; a son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. John W. and Louise Neese of Dayton, Tenn.; a daughter-in-law, Betty McRoberts of Wytheville; a son-in-law, John Palmer of Florida; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of the arrangements.
