John M. Justice John M. Justice, age 81 of Bristol, VA, went to be with the Lord Fri., Aug. 28, 2009 at Wellmont Hospice House. He was born in Honaker, VA, to the late Aaron and Jessie Mae Hubbard Justice. He was a retired employee from Covenant Coal Company. After being saved in Aug. 2003, he attended First Assembly of God Church, Bristol, VA. He was preceded in death by four sisters, five brothers. Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Letha Sullins Justice; four daughters, Sylvia Johnston and husband, David, of Travelers Rest, SC, Sharon Williams and husband, Danny, of Simpsonville, SC, Sandra Sanders and husband, Bill, of Liberty, SC, Sherry Edwards and husband, Jeff, of Travelers Rest, SC; two sons, Gerald Justice and wife, Judy, of Honaker, VA, and Jerry M. Justice and wife, Patty, of Honaker, VA; two step-daughters, Linda Williams and husband, Gary, of High Point, NC, and Kathy Mills and husband, Roger, of Salem, VA; four step-sons, Charles Oliver and wife, Gay, of Elliston, VA, Donald Oliver, Sr. and fianc‚e, Eva, of Roanoke, VA, Norman Oliver of Bristol, VA, and Ronnie Oliver of Roanoke, VA; one brother, Jesse B. Justice and wife, Lura Gay, of Cedar Bluff, VA; 27 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Jack Altizer and wife, Peggy. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wed., Sept. 2, 2009 in Akard Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jeffrey Carico officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memory Gardens. The family received friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tues. at Akard Funeral Home. Email condolences may be sent to the family at akardfuneralhome.com. Akard Funeral Home, 1912 W.
