Dear Laura:
Dave and I are truly sorry to learn of John's passing. John was fantastic to work with, both as a vendor and later as a co-worker. He never met a customer who didn't enjoy his company.
I will miss not being able to play golf with John. Over the years we've
enjoyed courses in N.C., S.C., and Fl.
Our favorite always remained Bryant Park. I can't imagine playing there without him. We may not have always had our "A" game, but we always had fun.
Some of his best stories involved Mobile high society life, but I probably shouldn't get into that here.
Hope you are doing O.K. Please feel free to contact us if there is anything we can do for you.
Alex and Dave

Laura, I'm so saddened to hear of John's passing. I've been thinking about you and him lately and remembering our yearly get togethers on John and Jim's birthday. I always thought the world of John and have fond memories of times past.

Laura, Wayne and Family
We are so sadden about John's passing.
He has always been special to our family for many years. We will miss all the gathering with him on different occasions. He always entertained everyone when he brought out his guitar, playing and singing. One song we can always remember him singing was his theme song,
I Been Throwing Horseshoes.(Thats away Love Goes)
We will always remember the name STONEWALL as that is what he always called Foye. He was like a brother to him. They go back a long ways as Foye talked about John going in the Navy when he was 17years old and his plan was to go with him but other things came up which was probably me.
We will always think of him and the good times we had.
Laura, keep in touch with us via email or a phone call. Wayne we will always be around for you and your family. Please let us know if we can help out in any way.
Love you all
Foye and Betty
