Audrey E. Edmonds

Audrey E. Edmonds Audrey Evelyn Edmonds, 83, of Corpus Christi, Texas, formerly of Wytheville, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009. A graveside service was held Monday, Sept. 14, at 11 a.m. at West End Cemetery in Wytheville with the Rev. Tom Ballard officiating. She was born March 22, 1926, in Carroll County, daughter of the late Frederick C. and Lena J. Crowder Edmonds. She was retired from the CIA and was a member of South Roanoke United Methodist Church, TSRA Club and CIA General Club. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Thelma Edythe Edmonds and Sadie E. Hope; and two brothers, William L. Edmonds and Cecil J. Edmonds. Survivors include four sisters, Anna R. Manderscheid of Chicago, Ill., Jewel E. Rhodes of Roanoke, Bonnie E. Rodda of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Patricia E. Kinder of Saint Mary's, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews. There was no visitation at the funeral home. Barnett Funeral Home in Wytheville was in charge of the arrangements.
