Orville Rife

Orville "Dean" Rife Orville "Dean" Rife, age 52 of Richlands, VA, passed away on Thurs., Sept. 10, 2009 at his home following a lengthy illness. Born May 24, 1957 in Richlands, VA, he was the son of the late Ervin and Evelyn Fuller Rife. He was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, William Ralph Rife and Charles Benton Rife. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rosie Shelton Rife; two sons, Matthew Rife and wife, Tommi, of Richlands and Tim Rife of Richlands; a special grandson, Noah Rife and Petie and Landen; sisters, Norma Mabe and husband, Gene, of Richlands, Ruth Harlow and husband, James, of Fredericksburg, Doris Ward and husband, Joe, of Pilgrims Knob, Janice Hubbard and husband, Charles, of Richlands; brothers, Ray Rife and wife, Cheryl, of Cedar Bluff, Danny Rife and wife, Judy, of Marvin and Randall Rife and wife, Sandy, of Council. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sun., Sept. 13, 2009 at Singleton Funeral Service Chapel at Cedar Bluff, VA, with Rev. James Ray, Rev. Billy Ward and Rev. Doug Allen officiating.
