Lawrence Robert "Bob" Lawrence, 66, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2009 in Grace Health Care, Abingdon. He was well loved by family, friends and the entire community. He is survived by his wife, Stella Lawrence of Marion; two nieces, Diana Armstrong of Atkins and Terri Harris of Christiansburg; one nephew, John Dix of Knoxville, Tenn.; and one brother-in-law, Russell Dix of Atkins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Todd Freeman officiating. Private burial will be held in Bluefield, Va. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
