Wanda Primm Fasano

Wanda P. Fasano Wanda Primm Fasano, 69, of Rural Retreat died Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009. Funeral service will be held Sunday, Sept. 27, at 2 p.m. at the Grubb Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor J.R. Gilman and the Rev. G.T. Monday officiating. Interment will be in West End Cemetery. She was president of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 9. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Coralie Hamilton Primm; husband, Alfred John Fasano; son, Robbie Fasano; and brother, Tommy Primm. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Richard Felty of Rural Retreat, Teresa and James Hagerman Jr. of Wytheville, Robin King and Peery Brown of Rural Retreat; a son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Sandy Fasano of Richmond; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Maryann Walters, Linda Turley, Sally and Homer Hedge, all of Wytheville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Rob and Edna Primm, Chris and Lindsey Primm, all of Wytheville; eight grandchildren, Ben Mishio, Amanda Scott, Stefany Scott Turner, Miranda Hagerman, Devon Hagerman, Jessica King, Allison King and Kyrie Fasano; special friends, Jane Smith of Riner and John Goss of Austinville; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, Sept. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Grubb Funeral Home or at the home of Teresa and James Hagerman Jr., 790 N. 2nd St., Wytheville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 9. Grubb Funeral Home in Wytheville is in charge of arrangements.
