To my dear brother Ronnie,
My heart breaks knowing you're gone but I know now that you're at peace and no longer in pain. You suffered for so many years, but whenever we seen you, you always managed to smile and say "I'm doing ok." I'll never forget all the pranks you always did. You loved to scare me somehow. You'd always get the biggest kick out of it.
Ronnie I ask one favor from you; please watch over Mandy until my day comes to join you all in heaven. You will be greatly missed. Ronnie until we meet again; I love you and miss you.

Remember

Remember me when I am gone away,
Gone far away into the silent land;
When you can no more hold me by the hand,
Nor I half turn to go yet turning stay.
Remember me when no more day by day
You tell me of our future that you plann'd:
Only remember me; you understand
It will be late to counsel then or pray.
Yet if you should forget me for a while
And afterwards remember, do not grieve:
For if the darkness and corruption leave
A vestige of the thoughts that once I had,
Better by far you should forget and smile
Than that you should remember and be sad.

Brian, Lori and Family,
We are sorry to hear of Ronnie's passing. They say the people in this world who truly are a blessing are always taken far too soon from us. There was always something to learn from Ronnie and the way he was so willing to help those around him. I will miss seeing his smiling face at Graham Mart. I am sorry we wont be able to make it to the service but I am out of town working. Please know you guys are in our thoughts and prayers. As he would say call if you need me..... I believe Ronnie touched the lives of every person he encountered. He was a hardworking, family-loving, compassionate man who never met a stranger. His grin could warm even the coldest of hearts and he was always wanting to help his fellow man. Never have I heard someone with a harsh word to say about him. These are just a few of the memories I have of Ronnie. Although his family is left to mourn his death, remember his legacy and the lives he touched. Let us all take heart in knowing the instant he left this earth, he breathed the same breath as Jesus! What a beautiful Homecoming!

HOLBROOK FAMILY,
WE ARE SO DEEPLY HURT TO HEAR ABOUT RONNIE'S PASSING BUT SO BLESSED TO KNOW HIM. THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST MEN WALKING ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH TO EVERYONE THAT KNOWED HIM AND IT SHOWS BY THE RESPONSE THAT THIS FAMILY IS GETTING. HE WAS A GIFT TO THIS EARTH FROM THE HEAVENS ABOVE. I WILL NEVER FORGET THE LITTLE PRANKS THAT HE WOULD DO OR PUT SOMEONE ELSE UP TO IT. THE SMILE ON HIS FACE WAS ONE THAT I WISH WE COULD SEE ON OTHER PEOPLE ON EARTH IN TODAYS TIME.HIS MOOD NEVER CHANGED OR THE WAY HE FELT TOWARDS PEOPLE IN HIS WORST TIMES. HE WAS MOST DEFENITLY A EXAMPLE WITH HIS WAYS TO ALL OF US. I WAS SO GLAD TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO CALL HIM A GOOD FRIEND. THE SAYING CALL ME IF YOU NEED ME WAS SO TOUCHING AFTER EVERTIME YOU SEEN HIM WAS SO TRUE AND HE MEANT EVERY WORD OF IT. MAY OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS BE WITH EACH AND EVERYONE ONE OF YOU IN THIS FAMILY AND ALL PEOPLE THAT KNEW HIM. WE ALL HAVE LOST A GOOD ONE FOR A WHILE UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN IN GODS HOUSE ABOVE.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Cheryl, Little Ronnie, Brian, and Mrs. Holbrook,
I am so sorry to hear about Ronnie's passing. I know the fight that he fought and I am glad that you had the time with him that you did. Ronnie was a good friend to Dad (Ronnie Scott) when he was alive.and as well to us. It was like they were brother's. I know how hard it was for Ronnie when dad died, but he was there for us when we needed him like a second dad. Ronnie liked to have fun, and enjoyed his fun. Ronnie had a good soul and a good heart, he will be missed. His fight is over and he can now have rest. Dad and Ronnie are together again in heaven where they can hang out and play pranks on one another and dont be suprised if they have some in store for us. you know how they were together. So I raize a glass and say a toast that heaven is now getting another good person to watch over us and protect us. Ronnie be at peace we love you and will miss you. Good by friend. Cheryl if you need any thing just ask.

Love Tammy

Ronnie:
Although you are not here with us no more..you was our "BEST FRIEND" many days and many nights were spent with great memories..you will never be forgotten and there will never be a good-bye..Just I will see ya in a little while.
There was not to many days in a year that we did not talk or speak that day, but you always knew that you was in our hearts..
I never knew that I would be writing you a see ya later note, but I am:
We loved you as family and you are in our heart and your family was so lucky to have a diamond in there family as you...
Many days of putting up hay..doctoring cattle...or just looking and walking the hill side or looking at the lake just to relieve some stress. The trips, the laughs, and now the sorrow. Our heart is broken...but I knew your wish and it was granted...

You took care of so many people and have so many friends..you were alot of people's "BEST FRIEND"...

You worked hard here on earth and your work is done. You fought a hard war and you won the battle...just like Dad and David.. and tell David our hay buddy Hello and say Hello to Daddy!

When you came to the church for dad...I never knew that I would be saying see ya later to my "ROCK" and 8 months later...See ya later and if you need me call me to our "BEST FRIEND"...Love ya Ronnie with all of our hearts! It's no pain and no rain in Heaven...R.I.P my dear buddy!
