Syndell Rose Althoff

YORK Angels of the Lord came and carried Syndell Rose Althoff to heaven on Monday, June 16, 2008, from York Hospital. Syndell was the stillborn daughter of Dwan M. Peterson and Joshua M. Althoff. In addition to her parents, Syndell Rose leaves to cherish her memory a big brother, Vincent Peterson, and a big sister, India Peterson, both at home; a maternal grandmother, Shelley Peterson of York; paternal grandmother, Mary ''Kathy'' Althoff of York; maternal great-grandparents, Doretha and Roger Peterson of Dover; paternal great-grandparents, Doris and Leo Althoff of Shiloh; and a host of other family member. Family and friends may attend a viewing from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the John H. Danner Funeral Home, 822 E. Market St., York. The service will begin at noon with the family's pastor, Don Record, of the Action Church, York, officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Babyland at Mt. Rose Cemetery. ''Briefly in our arms, forever in our hearts.''
