Dearest family,
Our Love and prayer's and sympathy are with you all.
The thing I remember most about Mary was how I felt when I walked into your famliy home when she was present. There was a warmth and light in the air that no doubt came from her presence, her smile and her heart.
I see this light, and feel it's warmth whenever I see you Scooter....and that which has been given to the heart,a Mother's Love, can never be taken.
I will be forever grateful for her presence on this earth and beyond.
Wishing you all peace. Beth (Milici-Klump and Eric Klump

Dear Family,
We send our prayers and sympathy for your loss. We know Mary, Joe and Cathy through Scott's long friendship with our children. His presence in our home as they grew up was and remains always welcome. Our memory of Mary brings to mind her lovely smile. We know much of her inner beauty lives on in the world through her son and daughter.
We pray for your peace and Mary's eternal joy with the Lord.

Dear Mary:
Sadly, I never knew you all that well, but the testiment to what an amazing person you are shows in the family you loved. Your daughter, Cathy, is truly one of the most generous people I know with a pure heart and amazing spirit. And your husband Joe has shown the strongest will, patience and love of anyone I have ever known through this difficult time. These great qualities speak volumes of the love and time you shared with your family.
'O kou aloha no, A ia i ka Lani, A'o kou oia'i'o, He hemolele ho'i. Amene
Your love resides in Heaven, and the truth of your lessons we hold as sacred.

I still remember the first time I met Mary May, it was my first trip to AZ to visit Cathy after meeting in Europe. She was sweet, obliging and always smiling. I'm not sure I ever saw her without a smile, actually. My only regret is that I did not know her for longer. She was an example to all of us who are mothers. You will be missed. Love Marie

Mary May- that is what we always called you and it always made you smile - something you did all the time anyway. You were a wonderful mother and wife as was evidenced by your family's devotion to you in these last years. I know you are an angel in heaven watching over Joe-Dad, Scott and Cathy and their families. I have a million wonderful memories of you as I was a fixture in the Berghoff household ever since Cathy and I first met our freshman year of high school. Thank you for your many wonderful kindnesses to me over the years - you always made everything better! Love you lots- Meg

Oh Mary, you are missed by many. In my view you are/were such a wonderful person, friend, Mother and Wife. My parents truly loved you, Joe and your children. Up until the end of my Mother's life she spoke of you and Joe often. Many times over the last few years Desire Munoz, her caregiver, pretended to be you, carrying on long coversations with my Mom, which she could do, as Desiree knew of the history behind the Berghoff's and the Biagiotti's. In June when my sister, Kathie, was here, my Mom spoke of you and when asked by my Sister's husband, Rick, the name of your husband, she warmly stated and smiled her wonderful smile, "Joe." And what a wonderful, thoughtful, thing to mention your caregiver in your obituary. Please be assured your very fine example and values live on with your children and will be passed down to your grandchildren. As for Joe, he gets a 14 carat gold Oscar/the warm feelings that he did more than his best, for each of the last 12 years, for the care he rendered you. I am sure you are very proud of him.
With love, Pete Biagiotti
