Vera Gilmore Obituary

Gilmore, Vera B.
98 of Glendale, AZ, passed away on March 29, 2011. She graduated from Framingham State College in MA. She taught Home Economics in MA, CT, and Glendale High School. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard S. Gilmore, a Glendale attorney. She is survived by her daughters, Lois Dorrell of TN and Cheryl Phillippe of Glendale; three grandchildren, Melany Proctor of TN, Nathan Dorrell of TN, and Rachel Ronfeldt of El Mirage; and nine great grandchildren. She was a member of FUMC Glendale; PEO Chapter AH; Glendale Home Economists; and Glendale Historical Society. A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 7102 N. 58th Dr., Glendale on Monday, April 4, at 3:00 P.M. Arrangements by Chapel of the
Chimes Mortuary, Glendale. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Glendale or to Hospice of the Valley.
