Albert Dial Obituary

Dial, Albert "Al"
80, of Surprise, passed away on April 11, 2011. Al was born June 16th 1930 in Jennings TX to Albert Dewey and Lena Lillie (Sullivan) Dial. The family later moved to Colorado. Al, at a young age, enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country for 9 years. After his discharge from the Navy, Al pursued a career in appraising, real estate and right of way property procurement. In 1977 Al joined Dairyland Power as Director of Real Estate/Right of Way related services. He retired in August 1993. Al and his wife Gretchen, longing for a warmer climate in retirement, relocated to Arizona where they enjoyed many wonderful years. Al is survived by his loving wife Gretchen, brother Jim Dial, sister Pauline Scott, three sons Albert D. Dial, David N. Dial, and John B. Dial, four daughters, Shirley A. Troppman, Aleen L. Dial, Dawn M. Dial and Joan Angela Dial and many grand children that loved him dearly. A family memorial service will be held at a later date.
