Sara Collis-Oloier Obituary
Age 36, of Surprise, died tragically on April 19, 2011. Sara was born August 1, 1974 in Milwaukee, WI. She is the cherished wife of Steven Oloier; treasured daughter of Kim and Linda Collis; loving granddaughter of Ervin and Dolores Blake and Betty Jane Collis. Sara forever will be loved and missed by the countless family, friends, and people whose lives she touched on a daily basis. Her love for her family and her dedication to healing were the most important things in her life. Even though Sara was only on this earth for 36 years, the world was a better place because of her. Memorial services will be at 11:00AM, Saturday, April 23 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to www.stjude.org.

Steve we are so sorry for the loss of Sara, our family sends our deepest condolences. Sara was not only an amazing doctor/healer, but also the most kind and wonderful soul and friend to talk with. Sara helped me in so many ways she was my doctor for over 3 years. I miss her and think about her often, her amazing smile, her laugh, her advice, and her making me a friend instead of a patient! Steve I pray for you and I know that Sara is now watching over you, and all of her patients!

I started out this morning intending to send a message to Sara never thinking the message would be words of condolence to her husband, family and friends. I am proud to have had the chance to call Sara my doctor and to get to know her as a person beyond her healing abilities. My heart is saddened learning of her tragic passing. To Steve, Sara’s family and DC Canyon and Health,
My deepest sympathy goes out to you all. I met Sara last year when I interviewed her and Dr. Michelle for a college paper I was writing. We instantly connected as we both were from the Midwest. I started to see Dr. Sara on a regular basis and always looked forward to my monthly appointments as we would catch up on our lives from the previous month. I am grateful I was able to have had this past year getting to know her and feel blessed I was one of her patients.

Although I only knew Sara for a short time, I learned quickly what a caring and dedicated Chiropractor she was. I was a patient of hers for several months and she helped me so much in that short period of time. My prayers go out to all of her family and co-workers. Her loss was so sudden and tragic and my heart aches for all of you. God Bless each of you during this difficult time.

I knew Sara from Whitman Middle School, we recently reunited through Facebook. My friend Tracie and I had just went to visit her only days before her passing. I'm so thankful to have gotten that recent visit with her. Sara was a wonderful and beautiful person inside and out. She will be deeply missed. I can still hear her joyful laugh.
