Sikora, Walter "Wally" Albert
Passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at his Scottsdale home, surrounded by his family, at age 84. Wally was born in Chicago, married Anne Fulton in 1954, and they moved to Scottsdale in 1966. Anne predeceased him in June of 2006. Wally is survived by his children, Elizabeth A. Sikora, Julia M. Hall and Kevin T. Hall, Stephen J. Sikora and Julie Sikora, Walter J. Sikora and Traci Sikora, and Susan L. Risser and Scott Risser; his 6 grandchildren, Colleen N. Sikora, Philip J. and Danielle N. Risser, Kevin W. Hall, Stephanie Hall-Garland and Valerie Hall-Ciceri; and three great-grandchildren, Bradley Garland, Ivey Garland and Miranda Garland. His sole surviving sibling is his sister Jean Kruzel, also of Scottsdale. Wally was an active member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish including the OLPH Men's club. He was also a longtime active member in the membership of Alcoholics Anonymous. Wally enjoyed a full life of golfing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. His favorite time was when all the kids and their families were home and celebrating time together with Anne and him. Wally owned AAC, Air Conditioning and Appliance repair in Mesa, which served the Valley for over 45 years. Wally's Funeral service was held at OLPH on Tuesday, May 10th, 2011 and he was buried at St. Francis Cemetery. Anyone wishing to make a memorial contribution in lieu of flowers may send a donation to O.L.P.H. Church, 7655 E. Main Street, Scottsdale AZ 85251.
