Jesus Arvizo Obituary
87 of Chandler, AZ passed away on June 5, 2011 of natural causes. Ranger or "Tata" as he was affectionately referred to by his many grandchildren, was born in Chandler, AZ and lived here all his life. Jesus served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was awarded the Bronze Star for heroism and two Purple Hearts during combat in the European Theater. Jesus married Mary Macias in Chandler 1947, the union which produced 11children. He worked for Bashas'/National Grocers for 20 years and retired in 1991. Jesus was preceded in death by his beloved Mary and 4 children: Esther (Kenneth); Raymond (Rhonda); Martin (Frances); and Michael (Diane). He is survived by 7 children: Josie (Joe), Jesse (Susan/Paulette), Terry (Greg/Clemente), Ricky (Linda), Annie (Francisco), Della (Thomas) and David (Jennie). He also is survived by 45 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and 7 great, great-grandchildren. Jesus was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who was loved, admired and respected by family members as well as those who knew him. His memory will remain in our hearts forever. A visitation will be held on Thurs, June 9, from 6-8 pm with rosary at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Bueler Mortuary, 14 W. Hulet Dr. Chandler. A celebratory mass in his honor will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 230 W. Galveston St., Chandler, AZ 85225 at 10:00 am on Friday, June 10 with interment to follow at Valley of the Sun Cemetery, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd. Chandler, 85248.

Tata oh how i miss hearing your voice and being your little mosquita. You and nana made me the person i am today ,and your memory lives on in the stories and memories we shared that i now share with my kids. I love telling them about my nana and tata. My tata is and was a hero and the definition of a man and how every man should strive to be and treat his family. I love you
