JOY STAMP
May 1, 2006
I was the receptionist at Merrill Lynch for the past 10 1/2 years and retired this past September to help watch my two little granddaughters.
I only recently heard about Mr. Aldrich's passing from Mr. Piper upon a visit to Merrill Lynch. Carter knew I always cared about your dad. I am so sorry for your loss, however, was thrilled to read he was a Christian and proud to be involved in Christian organizations!
It sounds like he was a wonderful father and has left you with a rich legacy to follow Christ and many wonderful personal memories. After reading about his love of hicking I know know why he walked everywhere and I am more at peace about always seeing him walk, regardless of the Bakersfield heat! I tried to give him a lift one very hot day, which he refused .
Please know I will remember him fondly.
