Ann Cormier Obituary

Ann A. Cormier 1930 - 2008 PITTSFIELD Ann A. Cormier, 78, of 169 Valentine Road passed away Monday, Sept. 29, 2008, at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Stockbridge on Aug. 15, 1930, the daughter of Michael and Mary Angelo, she was educated in the local schools and was a 1949 graduate of St. Joseph's High School. Mrs. Cormier was employed for many years as a waitress at the Highland Restaurant and at Jimmy's Restaurant. She was a longtime communicant of St. Marks Church. Her husband of 50 years, Normand J.R. Cormier, whom she married Sept. 1, 1951, died Nov. 24, 2001. She leaves a daughter, Jacqueline M. Arico of Cheshire; two sons, Scott J. Cormier of Hinsdale and David J. Cormier of Pittsfield, four grandchildren, Brandy and Nicole Cormier and Matthew and Joshua Arico, and two great-grandchildren. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME with the Rev. John Salatino officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
