I was blessed to have known Vicki from our teaching days at Morningside. She was a positive inspiration to all who knew her. She was the kind of teacher who left many memories in the hearts of her students. I pray that God will lift you through the difficult times and that you will find comfort in knowing that Vicki touched the lives of many and that her love lives on. My deepest sympathy.

When I think of Vicki, I am reminded of a colleague who joyously participated in our Winter Solstice Sing concerts at Morningside. In a thoughtful and generous gesture, she lent me her french horn to use in my music classroom for as long as I needed it.
I'll never forget the glow she had - especially when she brought young Bailey to school. I am honored and forever richer having known Vicki. Her love remains.

Dear Stevie,
I am so sorry for the loss of Vicky. Although we haven't kept in touch I know how much you loved and cherished her. I also know she felt very special for having you as her husband. You've always been a caring person Stevie, and I know there's not much I can say to lessen your loss. I do know that you're strong and have great faith. With that I can say I'm proud to be your cousin and I know your example will be something I have in my life.

All condolences.

Steve,
It's hard to be so far away from home when something like this happens. I feel for you at this time and keep you in my thoughts and prayers. You found the best possible woman to share your life with. You have a great son . I hope that if Bailey ever needs to talk he knows he could contact me. I know only too well what it is like to lose a parent at this tough age. I am thinking of all of you and hope to see you when I return home for a visit.

Bailey,
We really don't know one another but we are family. I am your second cousin Helen. I lost my dad two weeks after my fourteenth birthday. I feel very deeply for your loss. I know what it's like. Your mom was such a wonderful woman , there are not enough words. You will hear that for the rest of your life and it will mean so much to you. My dad , your great Uncle George left that kind of mark on this world as well. It will always bring you pride and comfort. Take your mother's precious words , life lessons and her grace as a human being with you as you move forward with your life. You have no idea how many lessons from her will giude you as you grow. Honor her memory by always being true to yourself , being happy and succeeding. I have always said that I may have only had my dad for a short time but I was by far luckier than most because he was THE best dad. You will always be able to say the same about your dear mother Vicki.

Stephen, Bailey and Family,
Vicki had a powerful impact on so many children, with her son Bailey, the children at Morningside and at her parish. She had a passion for children that would be difficult to match. I was blessed to have known her and learned much from her. She will be missed by many and her memory will continue to inspire.

To the Forfa family: I was one of Bailey's teachers in preschool. I remember Vicki coming to pick Bailey up from school. She always had such a sweet smile on her face. I then saw her frequently when she worked at Old Navy....again always smiling. I shall always remember her for the wonderful person/teacher that she was along with all who are saddened by her passing. May the Lord bless you and give you strength at this sad time.

Dear Eileen and Family,
I have just been so sad since hearing of Vicki's passing. My memories of my time with Vicki are such happy ones. Hearing her and and Mickey sing tunes from West Side story could make me laugh and want to cry, especially when choreography was involved. "Camping out" under the caps was always interesting. Vicki was so kind and sensitive. I feel very special that I was honored to have had her in my life. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I was always so proud that we were able to bring Vickie to the Morningside community, but in reflection it was probably beyond our control. Vickie was destined to bring her love, compassion.and wisdom to the children of Morningside school. As you read the memories of her childhood friends, it is clear from the time of her arrival here on earth that she was a very special person passing among us. All of us that knew her are truly blessed.

Steve, Bailey & Eileen,
I am so sad to know that your daughter, mother, wife, and friend is gone in body. Just always remember her spirit will always be around. Every time you hear a special song, story or joke that makes you think of her, she is there. Every time we eat berries she loved to pick, she will be there. I will always remind people that she was a more dedicated teacher, than I ever will be. She was as gentle as a dove. She will be sadly missed, but always loved. I will always remember and value the time I spent being her friend, co-worker, and college apartment mate. Hopefully, everyone who ever knew her, took away as many valuable lessons as I have. I will miss her always!

Friends and Family of Vicki,
I was so saddened to hear of Vicki's passing. My sisters and I will always have childhood memories of Vicki, and of course Susan. Summers of fun between houses... "baking" in the backyard (mudpies) and teasing all of the boys. In addition, Vicki's smiling face! We did have fun. May the memories you have carry you through this difficult time.

I was shocked when I read Vicki's name. I'm so sorry for your loss. Although i've not kept up with your lives, it seems like Vicki has truly left her mark in life by her unselfish acts of kindness. Every time i'm in Lee, I drive past the house you grew up in and think of our childhood. Simple and happy, the way is should be. I'll be saying a special prayer for all of you tonight.

Steve, Bailey, Eileen & family,
Words can't express the sorrow I am feeling at Vicki's passing. She was a great friend & roommate-she made life at NASC more than tolerable; she made it enjoyable. We had alot a great times together & I will never forget that! She was always a caring, nurturing person; I'm sure, signs of what a great teacher she would become. She always had a smile & a positive outlook on things, no matter what the circumstance-always a glass half full kind of person. Some of us only aspire to that. It was a privilege having known her. I am a better person from her example. She will be missed greatly!! Please know that my thoughts & prayers are with you all! Vicki is now at peace.
