Robert Nolli Obituary
PITTSFIELD -- Robert A. Nolli, 53, of 102 Fourth St., died Wednesday at the Berkshire Medical Center of lung cancer.
Born in Pittsfield, on Aug. 29, 1954, son of Lena Blake Nolli and the late Albert P. Nolli, he attended local schools and graduated from Taconic High School in 1974.
Mr. Nolli was employed by Home Depot. Before that, he worked for the Husky Corporation and General Electric Co. for several years.
He played the guitar and was in several bands, including the Al Nolli Trio Band. He enjoyed fishing.
Besides his mother, of Pittsfield, he leaves a daughter, Christine Robie of Pittsfield; a brother, Albert P. Nolli Jr. of Sandwich; a sister, Patricia Hall of Pittsfield; a one grandson.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Graveside services for Robert A. Nolli, who died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2007, will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. at the family plot in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Pittsfield by the Rev. Geoffrey J. Deeker CSS. Mr. Nolli, who enjoyed helping other people, also leaves a grandson, Joseph N. Puia; a niece, Kimberly Hall; two nephews, Scott and Michael Hall; a great-niece, Cheyanne Lefebvre; a great-nephew, Nicholas Lefebvre; a sister-in-law, Joann Nolli; and a brother-in-law, Richard Hall. The are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Joseph N. Puia Educational Fund in care of FLYNN & DAGNOLI-BENCIVENGA FUNERAL HOME, 5 Elm St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

My dear friends, I am so sorry to hear about Bob; I just heard this sad news the day after the service. I am so shocked by this news To drive by your house and not see "Hedgehog" on the porch will leave an empty spot on Fourth street and in my heart. Al, I am sorry that I missed you My sympathies to you Pat and to Mrs. Nolli; I know that she depended on Bob for a lot.
If there is anything I can do, don't hesitate to contact me. The deepest sympathies of both myself and the rest of the Gomes family go out to you at this sad time.

To my friends and neighbors,
Mrs. Nolli, Al, Pat and Dick, I just found out and I'm so sorry to hear about Bobby's passing. I didn't know he wasn't well. I so look forward to seeing all of you when I get to come home. Bobby was such a Great Friend all our years together. Since kindergarden, we were in the same class till high school but we were still only 3 houses and a warehouse apart. How many bands did we play in together including playing with your dad. How many times did Sister Adele let us try to practice downstairs at Mt. Carmel? Remember riding our bikes along ,"The Bumpy trail" behind Johnny Cuillo's family garden and Silver Lake. I'll be here allnight, these memories of just growing up together will take forever. Wow! Memories of playing in drum corp. Playing right next to Al all those years with the Imperials and the Cavelier's.
Mrs. Nolli, you were like my 2nd mom, always there for anything. My prayers are with you and Patty and Al. May the Lord give you His Strength,Love, Consolation and His Peace. I'll miss Bobby. I'll miss him alot!

Farewell my friend Bob,
We had some good times playing The Ethnic Fair with your dad "Big Al"
so many years ago, when you Al and your dad showed me that cool finger rolling thing,and i got it on the 3rd try.then you said i must be the long lost Nolli brother,cause no one else could do it but you guys ... and me.
so many good times,so many cool stories,no room to fit them all in.
