PITTSFIELD -- Alfred A. Harvey, 92, of Capitol Square Apartments died Friday at Laurel Lake Center for Rehabilitation after a brief illness.
Born in Austerlitz, N.Y., on Nov. 3, 1914, son of William W. and Anna Westover Harvey, he was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mr. Harvey was a self-employed house painter.
He enjoyed bowling.
He leaves a sister, Annebelle Simpson of Lenox and a brother Asel W. Harvey of Nokomis, Fla.
FUNERAL NOTICE -- Graveside services for Alfred A. Harvey, who died Friday, Oct. 19, 2007, will be conducted Tuesday at Mountainview Cemetery in Lenox. There will be an hour of visitation from 11 a.m. to noon at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME tomorrow, Oct. 23, with burial to follow. Donations in his memory may be made to the Salvation Army or to Goodwill, both in care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield MA, 01201.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
